Partnering for Change: Hosanna Pathways & His Embrace Uganda Ministries
We are overjoyed to share the successful completion of the Hosanna Boy’s Dormitory, a transformative project dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and empowering at risk boys in Mukono, Uganda. Since its launch in November 2021 this initiative has become a beacon of hope for young boys facing neglect, abuse, and homelessness. In partnership with His Embrace Uganda Ministries, we have completed this life-changing project as of December 2022.
Project Overview
The Hosanna Boy’s Dormitory now provides residential care, mentorship, and leadership training for 140 boys aged 4-18. The program follows a structured three-month cycle, allowing boys to stay at the center, receive guidance, and then return home for reintegration, ensuring long-term stability and family strengthening.
Why This Project Matters
140 at risk boys are now living in a safe, nurturing environment.
300+ at risk boys will receive ongoing mentorship, education, and life skills.
1,000 families have been trained in trauma-informed care, empowering parents to provide better support.
100+ Christian male mentors have been mobilized to serve as positive role models.
Key Achievements
Dormitory Completed: The facility is fully built and operational.
140 Boys Rescued & Housed: These boys now have a home where they are safe, cared for, and mentored.
Mentorship & Life Skills Training: Boys are actively engaged in personal development programs.
Trauma-Informed Care Implemented: Families and caregivers are equipped to provide emotional and psychological support.
Community Support: Local widows and single mothers are actively involved, fostering sustainability and long-term impact.
