Tis Better to Build Boys and Girls
Than to Mend Men and Women
Supporting Family Permanency Through
- Parenting Skill Training:
Since 1985 Hosanna has been providing placement, training and support to parents and all persons in parenting positions (e.g. foster parents, legal guardians, etc.) to primarily help families provide a more functional and permanent family environment and to secondarily keep children out of foster care or to help redeem kids from the foster care system.
- Development and construction of domestic and foreign child care facilities:
Since 2006 Hosanna has remodeled and constructed domestic foster homes committed to the long term (non-revolving movement of foster children from home to home) providing safe, stable and family oriented temporary or permanent care. Currently, Hosanna is focused on grants to foreign orphanage organizations that provided family (non-institutional) oriented care to orphan children.
Our Goal
Hosanna Pathways continually strives to limit the trauma of children and their families by supporting family permanency. Our training is a helpful process to keep children out of foster care and redeem them from foster care. We also provide funding for orphan housing that is less institutional-oriented and more family-oriented.
Matthew 18:3-5
Jesus said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of a child is the greatest in heaven, and whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.”
Our Beliefs
At Hosanna Pathways, we believe that every child is a gift from God, that person's life is very precious and that they should receive community support. With this belief, we help parents and providers provide better care to children and offer them a greater opportunity to succeed.
Proverbs 22:6
Start children off on the way they should go and even when they are old they will not turn from it.
