Building Hope in Murica: A Partnership for Children at Risk
Murica, a barangay in Bacolod City, faces significant challenges concerning child welfare. Nationwide, the Philippines is home to approximately 1.8 million orphaned and abandoned children, many of whom are victims of extreme poverty, natural disasters, or armed conflicts. Through our partnership with the KRIS Foundation, we are addressing these pressing issues by constructing a safe and nurturing home for children in Murica, Bacolod. This will be the fourth home in KRIS Foundation’s master plan to build five homes for children, providing them care, education, and hope for a brighter future. They also plan to build a mission home.
